Meet Our Team
We are a group of dedicated and professional independent clinicians who are able and willing to provide the care you need.
I work with adults, couples, adolescents, and families and use an eclectic approach that includes psychodynamic, family systems, and differentiation modalities. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their relationships, developmental history, and current and historical stressors. Therapy is an effective way to identify emotional and psychological “blind spots.” Discovery of such areas enables clients to actualize their vision of happiness and healthy living. I strongly encourage psychological, emotional, and physical engagement in the world. I press clients to courageously examine their relationships, developmental history, personal narratives, and family of origin to link present distress with dysfunctional attachments and distorted self-images. This all-encompassing approach pushes clients outside of their typical comfort zone to actualize their true potential.
I earned my doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology and completed my pre-doctoral training at Santa Anita Family Service in Monrovia, CA, Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, CA, and Pasadena City College also in Pasadena, CA. I provide consultation to schools, community agencies and churches on a regular basis covering a variety of topics related to depression, addiction, trauma, and family dysfunction. As co-chair of the Pasadena Mental Health Advisory Committee, I work regularly with law enforcement and mental health professionals to promote improved access to mental health services for underserved populations. I earned my BA in Psychology from Connecticut College. Following college I worked in investment management and commercial real estate before returning to my true calling of Psychology.
