Misha Jamall

Welcome to New Day Psychotherapy! Congratulations on taking the first step toward living your best life. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with individuals, groups, and families of all ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I strive to provide a warm, safe, affirming, and accepting environment for my clients as they embark on their therapeutic journey, and begin to tackle the symptoms that prevent them from being their authentic selves. I have experience with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, etc. In addition, I have a background in foster care/adoptive issues treatment, 0-5 early intervention treatment, LGBTQIA+ treatment, and Deaf mental health. I am bilingual in American Sign Language and English.
I utilize many different therapeutic approaches (cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, brief strategic family therapy, parent-child interactional therapy, psychoanalysis, solution focused therapy, play therapy, gestalt therapy) to ensure that my client’s needs are met. Human beings are not all the same, so why should your treatment be? There is no one size fits all therapy and I enjoy working with my clients to make sure that they are informed and active participants in their treatment plan. I look forward to healing with you!

“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us.”
